Swiss architects have always extended their activities to foreign countries. But what does it mean to start an architectural practice abroad? What are the challenges of recognition by the professional circles, as well as in the current architectural and urban design debates? What role does their acceptance in Switzerland play thereby? What influence do cultural aspects have on design and construction, on project acquisition and on the organization of one’s company?
