CULTURE UNDER ONE ROOF – Joint Tours at S AM & Kunsthalle Basel
Kunsthalle Basel and S AM Swiss Architecture Museum share more than just a roof: they are also united by an enthusiasm for art, culture and society. Together, they bring contemporary artistic positions into dialogue with current topics in architecture and urban development. A joint tour of both institutions brings these connections to life, exploring points of intersection as well as differences and their significance for society.
The tour is tailored to the students’ educational level and includes interactive and participatory elements. Students not only experience a lively exchange between two institutions, but are also encouraged to consider art and architecture together and explore them from an interdisciplinary perspective.
To book a joint tour of both institutions, please contact us well in advance at oj@sam-basel.org. We will coordinate the schedules and find a suitable time for your group.
Duration: 90–120 minutes
Available: Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm
Target groups: Kindergarten to upper secondary level, colleges and universities, day-care programmes
Cost for state schools / upper secondary schools: free of charge
Cost for colleges / schools from abroad: CHF 200
