Tour 1 : Art dans l’espace public
Art in public space is ever-present: visible, temporary and sometimes provocative. This tour offers new perspectives on familiar surroundings and sharpens awareness of interventions in the city.
Tour 2: Basel through time – A Discovery Tour with Sketching
Inspired by Lucius Burckhardt’s concept of “strollology”, this tour explores Basel’s city centre through drawing. Materials: sketching tools, a base, a city map and optionally a camera.
Tour 3: Sustainable building – but how?
The Lysbüchel site was for a long time an area purely for commercial and industrial purposes and is now being transformed into a residential district. How can this be done sustainably? We will explore the site and examine different approaches to sustainable construction.
Tour 4: Erlenmatt Ost – new forms of living together
How does a new neighbourhood emerge? This tour provides insight into contemporary housing models and new forms of co-living.

Duration: 90 minutes
Booking: Mon–Fri, 8am–12pm | 1pm–5pm
Target group: Kindergarten to upper secondary level, higher education, after-school care
Fees:
– Public schools & upper secondary: free of charge
– Higher education / international schools: CHF 200
