Family Sunday - A day full of discoveries at Kunsthalle Basel and S AM Swiss Architecture Museum

Explore two great exhibitions at S AM Swiss Architecture Museum and Kunsthalle Basel in a playful and interactive way. Workshops, puzzles and guided tours invite you to get to know the diverse world of mock-ups and the colourful paintings of Michaela Eichwald.
Registration is not required, admission and events are free all day.
Programme:
12-4 pm Drop-in workshop in the exhibition of Michaela Eichwald, for 6 year old children or older: Together we will discover the different materials that can be found in the works and create our very own colorful worlds.
12-4 pm Drop-in workshop in the exhibition Mock-Up: What is a mock-up anyway? And what is it for? Learn more about this important component in architecture and experiment with your very own small models.
2-3 pm Family guided tour through the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum and the Kunsthalle Basel: Playfully we discover both exhibitions and look for possible similarities or differences between art and architecture.
3-4 pm Public guided tour through the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum and the Kunsthalle Basel: In a joint tour we will look for links or differences and discuss the connections between architecture and art.
Please note that a valid Swiss or EU Covid certificate (vaccinated, recovered, tested) must be presented together with an official identity card in order to visit the event. The certificate requirement applies to visitors aged 16 and over.
