What do we notice when we take a closer look at architecture? Children and adults explore the exhibition ‘Tony Fretton: Practice’ together, focusing on spaces, materials, forms and what is already there. Afterwards, we head outside with Polaroid cameras to explore the area around the museum and capture whatever catches our eye – unusual details, materials, façades, transitions or everyday situations. The resulting photographs become a starting point for talking together about architecture and the ways in which we perceive our built environment.
