For the last official event in the context of the "Bengal Stream" exhibition, S AM has the pleasure to welcome Shameem Ahsan, Bangladesh Ambassador to Switzerland. He will be joined by Abul Khair (Chairman Bengal Foundation) and Luva Nahid Chowdhury (Director-General Bengal Foundation), two illustrious personalities from the cultural scene in Bangladesh.
The Bengal Foundation is a.o. the sponsoring organisation of the Bengal Institute for Architecture, Landscapes and Settlements, with which the S AM collaborated for the production of the exhibition.
Looking back on a fruitful cooperation across continents, as well as the slow departure of the exhibition from Basel, S AM is hosting a farewell tea on Saturday, June 16, 2018, to which you are cordially invited.
Besides drinking Bengali "Cha" on a large board in the museum, guests from Bangladesh, architects from Switzerland and the curators of the exhibition would like to engage in a cross-cultural conversation with you about their visions of architecture, landscape and settlement developments.
