The book accompanying the «About Books and Trees - Vogt Landscape Architects» exhibition is both part of the exhibition and a work in its own right. Photographer Christian Vogt accompanies the office's work for years. He is not just concerned with recording the projects, he extends his view to include the basic question «what is nature»? How do we perceive nature when we confront its apparent formlessness with the companion pieces we have designed?  The dialogue between the images of what seems to be «jungle» in Central Europe and nature as shaped by Vogt Landscape Architects releases fantasies, shows relationships and things that cannot be brought together, stimulates comparisons and questions.
