While our exhibition spaces are temporarily closed between exhibitions, we are still taking part!
As a member of the Theaterplatz Quartier, S AM is contributing to this year’s—and final—Theaterplatz-Fest.
12–5 PM: Building Spaces Together – Piazza der Arkaden
Wooden blocks become arches, arcades and new public spaces: a temporary landscape bringing together architecture, play and theatre. Visitors of all ages are invited to build, experiment and create new spaces together.
12–5 PM: Places of Togetherness
Which places in Basel represent encounter, exchange and participation? As part of ‘Museen für Demokratie’, you are invited to share your personal places of togetherness. The contributions collected will form a growing archive, with the first voices becoming digitally visible on 15 September 2026, International Day of Democracy.
